Down's Syndrome North Yorkshire 

The DSNY support group is a collection of volunteers all with personal experience of Down's syndrome who have come together to pass on as much information, help and support as possible in order to enjoy the wonderful experience that raising a Down's syndrome family member can be.

We are also avid fundraisers and stage events exclusively for our members, their families and carers, like our annual trip to Flamingo Land which in 2025 will be in its thirteenth year.

We now stage a monthly Disco for ALL 18+ SEND members and carers in conjunction with the Artizan International charity and our sponsors.

Our aim is to bring together the people of North Yorkshire and maybe other adjoining areas, share our experiences, knowledge and ideas to help ensure we get the best for all members of the DS community.
